Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta - UNY or Yogyakarta State University is one of the largest state universities in Indonesia. UNY is based in Sleman District of the Yogyakarta Special Territory. Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta was formerly known as IKIP Yogyakarta, which was founded in 1964. The name Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta was established in 1999. As of 2012, UNY supported by 7 faculties, and 1 graduate school. The College operates 64 regular undergraduate study programs, 16 regular graduate study programs, and 6 international undergraduate study programs. UNY also supported by 1,040 lecturers, including 171 doctoral holders and 114 professors.
